Sensitive observer of human behaviors, I have this ability to materialize the subtlety of emotions.  It is probably this sensitivity, which, from one artistic form to the other, always guided me intuitively.

With wood, I create imaginary characters marked with a vibrant presence.  The outline of their bodies reveals only fragments of their anatomy away from all normality.  The whole work is enhanced with spots of colors contrasting with the natural wood.

As silent witnesses, they fasten to the substance a sensation of ambivalence.  Androgynous and ageless, both refined and rough, these different and unclassifiable creatures escape from rationality, leaving the mind of the observer in a soft ambiguity.
